Who needs a Criminal Record Check?

This information will be kept strictly confidential.
Who needs an RCMP Record Check and a Driver’s Abstract?
Anyone intending to drive for Choices, off site classes (i.e. gymnastics, swimming), or field trips needs both an RCMP Record Check and a Driver’s Abstract. School policy requires anyone, whether volunteer or work exchange, who is driving students on behalf of the school to complete an RCMP Record Check. Forms are to be signed in person at the RCMP office any Wednesday from 1-4pm and returned to the School Admin Office prior to driving.
Parents must also apply for a copy of their Driver’s Abstract by calling 1.800.950.1498 with their driver’s license number. Forms are to be emailed back to the school at info@saltspringcentreschool.ca. This information will be kept strictly confidential.
